What would you like to see as an event for Adepticon 2008?

With the introduction of the Adepticon Battlefleet Gothic tournament and last year's bloodbowl event is there anything else people would like to see as a specialist gaming event?

I would love to see a return of a bloodbowl tournament along with an Epic tournament and maybe an Aeronauticas Imperialis tourney.

I notice the poll is limited to GW games?

:)

I think I'm just still stoked about playing AI on Saturday, so I voted for that.

Honestly, I'd like to see any one of these games next year. I don't know if I'd play them all, but they'd be cool to watch.

As a "specialist games" fan, I'd definitely play in EPIC, Warmaster or Aeronautica tournament.

That said, I'd really love to see a Warhammer Ancients tournament/event, though I suspect that would be a small crowd indeed.

Aeronautica would definitely be popular, with relatively few models to paint. It would also, due to it's quick play, be an easy tournament to keep on schedule.

This is all probably moot for me personally if Adepticon 2008 is the last weekend in March again- that would unfortunately coincide with a wedding I can't get out of...my own.

Dave,

We can work this out. The hotel does weddings too. Your schedule could look something like this:

2:30PM - 4:30PM LIBER METALLICA - Midway - Dave Pauwels
5:00PM - 6:00PM NUPTIALS - Pavilion
6:30PM - 8:30PM RECEPTION/DINNER - Illinois/Indiana
9:00PM - 1:00AM AERONAUTICA IMPERIALIS TOURNAMENT - Ballroom

Never have to leave the hotel!

Which would clearly lead to...
1:00AM-2:15AM Dave's Wake and Memorial Service- Indiana Room. Eulogy by Chris Borer.

I think Dave and the Terrain crew could come up with a pretty sweet Cityfight themed casket for that...

That's a sweet idea!

There will definately be a casket board next year!

A cityfight tournament would be badass. 500 point armies, maybe 1 hour games (fit in 5-6).

Epic of course...but I also hope to one day buy the entire country of Iceland.

I do have an idea in the back of my skull - sort of a small scale, interior squad level tournament. Sort of 40K in 40 Minutes without vehicles...if I get the time I might actually draft something up...but really I just want to build the tables....
